Top Secret/SCI Integration Engineer
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the Department of Defense (DoD) and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies. Essential Job Responsibilities: Diagnoses and resolves technical issues related to system integration, ensuring systems operate efficiently. Creates and maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, integration processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Performs system testing and quality assurance activities to ensure integrations meet client requirements and industry/DoD standards. Minimum Qualifications: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance Ability to analyze system requirements and develop engineering specifications Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering lifecycle phases Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical documentation Preferred Requirements: Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like MagicDraw or Cameo Prior experience working with military or aerospace platforms Master's degree in a technical discipline is a plus Physical Requirements: May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
