Fleet Improvement Engineer
DEME is looking for a Fleet Improvement Engineer to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across our fleet of vessels. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing maintenance and asset management processes, conducting audits, and supporting our fleet teams in enhancing operational performance. Your Responsibilities
Conduct audits on vessels and fleet processes to provide insights and identify improvement actions together with responsible teams.
Implement and enable continuous improvement actions in maintenance and asset management processes together with process stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with standards and KPIs, set up new standards and procedures where relevant and contribute to strategic improvement initiatives.
Advise and support fleet teams in reliability, maintenance interventions, and investment strategies.
Your Profile
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maritime or technical environment.
Degree in Industrial Engineering or Civil Engineering in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree.
Knowledge of asset management, reliability, financial processes, and procurement.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and initiate process improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to guide and influence various stakeholders.
Problem-solving mindset and a results-driven approach to developing and implementing improvement initiatives.
Thorough understanding of maintenance processes and related systems.
Willingness to travel frequently.
