Entry-Level Circulation Clerk
We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual for a full-time Entry-Level Circulation Clerk position. Prepare and type reference, book and transaction cards. Maintain books on shelves. Shelving books in proper place. Handle money collected for overdue, lost books and other charges Schedule civic organizations into meeting room. Enter and update patrons's records on computers. Process new materials including books, audiovisual materials and computer software Sort books, publications, and other items according to established procedure and return them to shelves, files or other designated areas. Instruct patrons, including books, periodicals, tape cassettes, Braille volumes, and pictures. Maintain records of items received, stored, issued, and returned, and file catalog cards according to system used. Someone that loves to read is a plus. Preferred candidate might have: High school diploma or equivalent Bookkeeping Typing Computer Skills Operate video conferencing, projector, gaming system, and other office equipment.
