You'll work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a variety of temperatures - and you'll love the energy that comes with it.You will be responsible for safely and accurately picking floral orders using pick tickets or scanners, packing and boxing products for shipment, loading them onto company trucks, meeting daily productivity and accuracy goals, and working efficiently to meet tight loading deadlines. Safely and accurately picking floral orders using pick tickets and/or scannersResponsibilities also include:Maintaining a clean and organized work areaCollaborating with your team to keep operations flowing smoothlyPick, pack, and prepare orders with the correct number and quality of unitsAudit and inspect products to ensure they meet order and quality specificationsExecute downgrade processes for expired or sub-spec inventoryConsolidate product carts and racks, managing by expiration datesFollow standard operating procedures every timeExecute downgrade processes for expired or sub-spec inventoryConsolidate product carts and racks, managing by expiration datesSort and place materials on racks according to organizational standards Must be comfortable working in various temperature zones, including 45°F for unloading, scanning, and sorting inbound product; 50°F for packing and loading trucks; 85°F in the greenhouse while handling inbound foliage; and a seasonal loading dock with year-round temperature changes.This role involves constant heavy lifting and variable temperatures performing the the following: 45 degrees unloading/scanning /sorting inbound product 50 degrees Packing /loading product into trucks to ship85- degrees(summer) in the greenhouse unloading/scanning /sorting inbound foliage plantsThis is a full-time, 2nd shift position with seasonal variations. Flexibility is essential during peak periods.Pay Range: $17.50/hr-$18.50/hrWhen You'll Work: Sunday-Thursday 9-10-hour shift on average, 30-40hrs per week. EOD = "End of Day" (whenever the shift is completed) There is no fixed end time - your day ends once all tasks are completed, including end-of-day duties. Sunday: 3:00PM-EOD Monday: 6:00PM-EODTuesday: 6:00PM-EODWednesday: 6:00PM-EODThursday: 6:00PM-EODHolidays & Overtime: Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs. Please be aware that during peak times, particularly around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, and Mother's Day, you may be required to work overtime and on days that are typically your time off.
