Camp Fire Central Oregon is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Site Lead to help run high-quality, inclusive programs for elementary-aged youth in the La Pine and Sunriver area. This full-time, year-round position combines direct service with site-level leadership in three key areas: Afterschool programs and No School Day Camps, Summer day camps, and Structured school recess facilitation through Playworks. Site Leads take the lead at program sitesmanaging check-in/out, running group activities, and modeling strong behavior and team culturewhile also building trusted relationships with youth, families, and coworkers. This is a great fit for someone ready to grow in leadership while staying hands-on with youth. Summary of responsibilities: Facilitate games, enrichment activities, and positive routines that support youth growth Manage daily site operations, including setup, cleanup, and check-in/out Serve as lead staff during programs and support team coordination Implement structured recess using Playworks strategies at assigned school Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment using trauma-informed practices Summary of skills and qualifications: Experience working directly with elementary-aged youth in school, camp, or out-of-school settings Confidence leading group activities, games, and social-emotional learning routines Strong communication skills and ability to foster inclusive, trauma-informed environments Experience managing site-level logistics such as check-in/out, setup, and transitions Ability to model positive behavior, resolve peer conflict, and build strong youth relationships Enthusiasm for collaborative team culture and willingness to take on leadership roles Benefits: $4,800 annual health stipend 15 days PTO + 16 paid holidays Paid professional development Free Camp Fire programs for dependents Supportive, mission-driven work culture Apply now.
