Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service Emergency Services Training Institute $5,833.34 monthly College Station, Texas Staff Incident Management Program - Agency Instructor I $5,833.33/month 1 Position to be filled Telecommuter eligible The Role at a Glance As a member of the Incident Management training team, the Agency Instructor I will be responsible for teaching various courses within the incident management program. The Agency Instructor I will utilize their knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of the course instruction. The Agency Instructor I will use a variety of media to present course materials and will also adapt course curriculum, when necessary, to meet learner's needs. The Agency Instructor I will be expected to perform as the lead instructor for the deliveries of the various Incident Management program courses. This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding, which is renewed through provisions of the grantor of the contract. Therefore, this position is contingent upon continuation of funding from these grants and/or contracts, as well as satisfactory job performance. This position reports to the Agency Training Manager. Qualifications of the Role High School Diploma or GED. Four years of senior level experience in incident management and/or emergency response. One year of adult education and/or training. Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment. Must have a valid passport or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment. Completion of IS-700, IS-800, ICS-100, and ICS-200 training and certification. Completion of ICS-300 and ICS-400 since 2019 or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment. NDPC Certified Instructor or equivalent or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. Equivalency: Will consider an associate's degree in a related field with two years of senior level experience in incident management and/or emergency response or a bachelor's degree in a related field. Must also have one year of adult education and/or training.
