natural strategist with the ability to successfully leverage systems and analysis tools, exhibits the ability to understand and perform technical aspects of the job Key Responsibilities Manages and oversees the Quality Assurance team, which includes organizing schedules, workloads, and machine assignments based on product changes or specific issues. Coordinates and addresses quality-related problems, both internal and external, responds to urgent situations within the respective plant, and remains on call 24/7. Engages with technical services regarding any product issues encountered during production. Supervises and coordinates all internal testing and systems to guarantee product quality and compliance with customer requirements prior to shipment. Maintains communication with fiber producers and manufacturers regarding products in production, including quality concerns, breakdowns, excessive resource demands, unmet expectations, and claims-related recourse. Collects necessary information to support claim negotiations. Assists the ISO Coordinator as needed in the implementation of the Quality System. Collaborates with other departments, including Planning, R&D, Texturing, and Maintenance, to optimize production methods. Takes on the responsibilities of other QA Managers at the Yadkinville site when required. Develops and maintains relationships with lab equipment vendors to ensure familiarity with leading technologies. Education A bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, textile engineering, physical science, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering is preferred. Experience Relevant experience in texturing production and/or basic product development is preferred. Current management responsibilities or demonstrated managerial experience is preferred.
