Junior International Program Analyst
Avid Core is seeking a junior International Program Analyst to support a federal government client in Washington, D.C. We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented person interested in supporting an international global security program. The position offers hybrid work flexibility, working from a home location and client location with the expectation of attending meetings at the client site in D.C. as required. Coordinates between directorates and project teams to promote operational efficiency and adherence to agency best practices, facilitating regular reviews to improve project workflow and processes Supports international stakeholder engagement and fosters interagency collaboration to advance strategic partnerships and objectives under Interagency Agreements (IAAs) Supports contract administration and management regarding developing and updating program requirements Actively engages in problem-solving, risk identification, and risk mitigation during project implementation Supports communication and collaboration between divisions to ensure strategic goals and program initiatives are met Monitors and manages project budgets and financial reporting in collaboration with the Finance and Logistics Division and project teams Contributes to the development of project deliverables, including work plans, operating agreements, memorandum of understandings and/or agreements, etc., as applicable Promotes awareness of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) programs, training opportunities, and policies within the area of responsibility Provides input and recommendations to develop, refine, and improve partnerships, policies, and processes in coordination with client leadership Helps develop and execute new strategic initiatives as needed Supports and coordinates directly with attachs on emerging and evolving international developments Supports the execution of Customs Mutual Assistance Agreements Provides technical recommendations for International Training and Assistance initiatives Supports senior leadership's participation in the World Customs Organization Completes other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills
3+ years of program management experience supporting a Federal Agency Proficiency with the full Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint) Exceptional editing and data analysis skills to ensure deliverables submitted to the client for final approval are error-free Experience with WebEx, Zoom, and other virtual meeting platforms Ability to obtain public trust security clearance We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Interested in working with law enforcement agencies Able to manage multiple high-priority tasks Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment Able to manage and follow-up on deadlines, as well as to identify and recommend solutions and next steps Fun and energetic Top Secret/Secret clearance desired Education:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in international affairs or similar field. Master's Degree preferred. Benefits:
