As a Site Commissioning Engineer, you'll manage a team of skilled commissioning engineers and partner agencies, ensuring all activities are executed in strict alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. You'll be responsible for developing strategic plans, allocating resources efficiently, and overseeing the implementation of commissioning processes that meet both technical and financial targets. Define and implement operating guidelines for commissioning teams Develop procedures and method statements for testing and commissioning Prepare commissioning plans in coordination with the Project Manager Provide technical guidance and resolve issues during execution Lead failure analysis and troubleshooting Drive team performance to meet project timelines, safety, and quality standards Customer and Stakeholder Engagement Deliver technical solutions aligned with customer requirements Negotiate and define plant acceptance criteria Represent commissioning in project review meetings Ensure final acceptance certification is obtained Oversee contractual work and conduct regular progress reviews Identify and manage contract risks and variation orders Planning and Resource Management Ensure commissioning team is adequately staffed, trained, and equipped Assign tasks, define performance metrics, and manage cost estimates Collaborate with supply chain to ensure availability of equipment and services Leadership and Development Promote best practice sharing and continuous improvement Guide, coach, and develop team members in line with HR policies Participate in annual budget planning and manage financial performance Who you are? Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Proven experience in commissioning AC and DC Metro Rail projects Extensive hands-on experience with AIS and GIS substations (400 kV and above) 34 years of experience leading commissioning teams 1015 years of industry experience in similar roles Experience working with domestic and international Metro Rail and substation projects Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage outsourced agencies and subcontractors Knowledge of AC/DC systems, test protocols, and method statements Expertise in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and automation/control systems Familiarity with IEC standards What We Offer: Competitive Salary: Enjoy a rewarding compensation package.
