Within Compliance PMO, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for successfully supporting Business Enablement Technology with a focus on Software Development Lifecycle and Compliance. Analyze parameters including costs, timelines, technical functions, benefits and risks of IT projects. Contribute to executive level updates on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls and risks. Responsibilities
Utilize data gathering tools and methods to gather and analyze data needed for project requirements; assess and document client requirements; develop functional configuration specifications upon a thorough analysis of business requirements. Participate in the development, execution, tracking, and analysis of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans, document and report results and deliverables throughout each phase of a project. Assist the training coordinator in the delivery of end user training and provide post-production functional support. Complete final testing for conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications. Coordinate upgrades and support with project management vendors, coordinate training on project management tools and methodologies. Participate in the development, maintenance, and publication of project management standards and guidelines, review materials and deliverables for adherence to methodologies and procedures. Create and maintain the Project Work Breakdown Structure; ensure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicated. Drives project completion successfully by achieving all milestones within each project, and meeting business requirements within the approved budget and timeline. Organize required reporting for business and technology management review sessions. Provide hands-on technology project management and documentation to support technology projects. Establish project governance and communication with stakeholders. Ensure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicated. Organize required reporting for business and technology management review sessions. Track financials related to technology expenditures including software, hardware, and resource allocation. Qualifications
3+ years' experience as Project Manager leading medium sized SDLC projects independently, following all requirements of the project life cycle and methodology. Monitor and maintain project financials and forecast. Experience leading compliance technology projects related to Sanctions, AML/KYC and Fraud. Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals and the SDLC. Proven ability to develop business requirements and manage a project plan. Must be hands-on with technical project management end to end. Provide support to senior project managers on larger projects and programs, ensuring project goals are met. Knowledge of technical design concepts, system architecture, environment infrastructure to allocate tasks and identify issues. Experience tracking projects and tasks through Jira, Confluence or other tools. Experience with Waterfall Methodology and other delivery methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Project, Visio, and SharePoint. Strong preference for CAPM Certification
Certified Associate Project Manager. Preferred
Experience within a technology organization in the financial services industry is preferred. Experience with Agile and hybrid PM methodologies. Education
Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science. The typical base pay range for this role is between $84K - $127K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
