Waynesboro, PA Join a team where precision meets purpose. About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Compressor Assembler to join our 2nd shift team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling and disassembling Frick and other compressors, diagnosing issues, and ensuring each unit meets our high standards of performance and safety. What You'll Do Assemble and disassemble new and rebuilt compressors using: pneumatic and electric hand tools, 100-ton press, oxygen-acetylene torch Design and fabricate safe methods for dismantling locked compressors Inspect internal components for wear and machining issues using precision measuring tools Diagnose root causes of compressor failures and report findings Determine usability of parts (scrap, rework, or reuse) with minimal supervision Align and fit parts accurately to ensure optimal compressor performance Interpret sales orders and blueprints independently Maintain detailed teardown reports, logs, and schedules Coordinate with other departments for parts, scheduling, and shipments Uphold 5S standards for a clean and safe work environment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen and problem-solving teams What You Bring Mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial tools Ability to read blueprints and technical documents Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Self-motivation and ability to work independently Commitment to safety and quality standards Why Join Us?
