Our Finance team is looking for a Fund Accountant who is excited to become a part of a growing organization, one that has a reputation for delivering excellence to its clients for generations. Among others, the individual will be responsible for performing all aspects of fund accounting including NAV packages review from administrators, annual financial statement review and audit coordination. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.? Responsibilities
Oversee all fund accounting related operations for 40+ funds that are performed by Fund Administrators Communicate frequently and lead aspects of the offshore teams accounting operations Participate in new fund structuring and set up working closely with product, legal, investor services and finance Direct payment processing and accounting entries with Fund Administrators Lead monthly/quarterly sign-offs on fund NAVs Coordinate year-end audit and financial statements for 40+ funds Calculate and record management, performance and trail fees into the corporate general ledger Contribute towards exploring innovative ways to enhance procedures Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in accounting 4-6 years fund accounting, fund administration or fund audit experience Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Skills
Great oral and written communications skills Ability to meet assigned deadlines Detail-oriented and resourceful with excellent organizational and project-management skills. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and accountable Must have desire to learn and grow Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
