As an in-room dining server you will be responsible for the taking, entry, setting up, delivering and retrieving all food & beverage orders to guest rooms and hospitality suites while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and brand and company standards are met. Core Responsibilities Maintain accurate set-up & delivery of all food & beverage orders to guest rooms in accordance with established guidelines and procedures on a daily basis. This includes polishing of glassware & silverware, folding/rolling napkins, setting up trays, stocking supplies, etc. Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner while delivering order following Le Meridien guidelines and sophisticated style. Conduct floor sweeps to retrieve all food & beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines. Set up and deliver all amenities to rooms in a timely manner. Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, to maintain accountability of all food & beverages served. Complete all shift side work as outlined. Respond to all guest needs, issues, comments, and problems in a timely manner to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. Report any less favorable comments to immediate shift supervisor. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Positive Attitude with a team first mentality Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism; treat others with respect and consideration regardless of situation. Ability to manage difficult or emotional customers or situations; includes ability to respond promptly to guest requests. Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes. Basic knowledge of food & beverage or a passion for learning Ability to stand for long periods time and push-pull up to 25 lbs.
