Senior Designer
Kelly Wearstler is looking for a very talented Senior Designer with experience in private residential projects, luxury hospitality, and restaurants to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and has proven success in managing multiple large-scale design projects end-to-end. Passion and elevated taste level is a must! Duties
Manage multiple design projects end-to-end across luxury hospitality, commercial and private residential; act as main point of contact for projects Lead design development, drawing and documentation of projects during the design as well as management of the scope, schedule and budget during construction. This includes coordination with clients, contractors and fabricators Oversee submission of budgets and drawing sets, including but not limited to, specifications, technical production and basic code knowledge Scope and plan project milestones and timelines; ensure timely delivery of project deliverables Lead, motivate, and collaborate with teams; identify and execute on professional development opportunities for team members Responsible for management of design team requirements, including resource planning Collaborate with artists and artisans on custom works and projects Desired Skills & Experience
8+ years experience with Interior Design/Architecture education and background Proven track record of managing multiple design projects end-to-end Excellent communication skills Ability to originate concepts, and be the design lead for teams putting numerous projects together Strong leadership/management skills with ability to multitask, all from design inception to completion in all design phases Refined presentation skills with experience Autocad, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Proficient Applicant must have substantial CA experience (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response and consultant coordination) Willing to travel (domestic and international) Benefits Overview
