Cyber Analyst
The U.S. Army FIRES Program is subordinate to the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). FIRES (The NGIC FICA Branch) provides worldwide targeted structure, facilities and infrastructure based intelligence in support of the Army, DOD, IC and interagency partners in order to provide decisive advantage to Warfighters, Decision Makers and enable United States security. FIRES supports dozens of operations and Requests for Information (RFI) per year and FIRES products support hundreds of queries per month from customers ranging from the tactical to strategic level via various dissemination platforms (GETS, Pulse, etc.) Responsibilities: Provide innovation and critical thinking skills to all customer problem sets. Expected to be able to expertly translate creative and critical thinking into written and oral forms. Expertly find and fuse cyber intelligence information from all available intelligence disciplines. Performs cyber data fusion by combining various types of data to create a product with an increased level of understanding of the targeted area than can be achieved with a single data source. Identifies additional collection platforms and datasets that provide valuable insights or added value to the program's analysis. Uses Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) techniques to mine large datasets for analytic leads and developmental opportunities. Performs network or nodal analysis of people, organizations, and locations by fusing cyber data from sources including but not limited to SIGINT, commercial databases, reporting, GEOINT analysis, and OSINT analysis. Communicates requirements for collection and for large datasets to be developed technologists. Required: Must possess current TS/SCI clearance. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5-10 years of relevant experience. Experience in working with, analyzing, and delivering cyber, network, or interconnected systems information. Proven ability to adapt to complex technological topics. Clear and effective written, visual, and oral communications skills. Desired: Intelligence experience in a fusion environment. Knowledgeable in intelligence disciplines' capabilities, limitations, and platforms to include HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, and OSINT. Ability to handle multiple efforts simultaneously. Analytic and technical collaboration and outreach experience.
