The Laboratory Technologist works under general supervision to perform difficult and complex laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment. Prepare laboratory and laboratory equipment for daily operation (e.g., turn on equipment and computer, retrieve necessary chemicals, reagents, etc.) Inventory lab supplies to ensure sufficient amounts are available Examine expiration dates of chemicals and replace expired products Perform shut-down procedures on equipment at end of day (e.g., general cleaning, flushing lines, disassembly, return) Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED 7

11 months related experience and/or training Certified in Arkansas as a lab tech or other certification
