Key Qualifications Responsible for guiding the development of an agile team into an effective delivery unit with a sustainable cadence. Responsible for ensuring the team's process evolves within organizational guidelines and standards of practice. Must be able to nurture self-organizing, high performing teams through servant leadership and mentoring. Encourage, support, and guide continuous improvement of the team, its products and processes. Excellent communicator, able to gain the respect of the team, external stakeholders, and management. Able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation. Must be willing and able to identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and then facilitate quick resolution. Must be able to facilitate the development process. Understanding of agile values and principles as expressed in the Agile Manifesto. Skilled at creating a fully transparent development process. Capable of being a scrum master for one to three scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work. Facilitate agile activities and meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives and sprint reviews. Assist the product owner with program, project, and product updates/white papers, etc. as well as backlog grooming. Assist the team with implementing effective agile disciplinary practices. Ensure cross-functional coordination. Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal. Maintain relevant metrics that provide organizational visibility and help the team see how they are doing. Be a Product advocate; can describe the Product, its value, how it works, how it is adopted, speak to upcoming changes and tailor the information to the audience. Understand the Product Roadmap and use knowledge of future features to improve current stories and tests. Assist in managing stakeholder expectations through personal interaction and written documentation. Identify, escalate, and remove roadblocks, triage defects, and provide clarity from customers on issues where appropriate. Work directly with customers and team members to capture details of feature requirements, understand use cases, collect samples, and find tests; apply knowledge of product and business drivers to enhance work. Write and refine stories for clarity, business value, and acceptance criteria with guidance from Product Management. Work with Team to translate any internal "Enablers" into value driven stories. Assess, provide input and potential improvements to Product Owner on impact to business partners' current processes and their current use of the Product. Conduct feature mapping, gap analysis, data flow to help assess business implications of feature, tool, or platform. Highlight risks, escalate impacts and assist in developing and analyzing possible innovative solutions for complex issues. Conduct Product demos. This position requires familiarity with software development and understanding of stakeholder engagement. You must be comfortable with rapidly evolving designs, requirements, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Throughout the process, you will work collaboratively with our team of engineers, partner with other teams such as operations and business stakeholders. The individual must be self-motivated, an amazing problem solver and a fast learner.
