The Formal Referral Specialist is responsible for overseeing all management initiated referrals to resolve work-related or substance abuse issues. As the world's largest provider of EAP and managed care, this is an exceptional opportunity to use your clinical expertise to help provide support for clients who are in need. The ideal candidate has sound clinical judgement, exceptional documentation skills, and strong attention to detail. Primary Responsibilities
Issue referrals to local providers to ensure clients are evaluated within five (5) business days Educate referral contacts, providers, and facilities about procedures for management initiated referrals Ensure that treatment providers complete all the necessary paperwork Act as a clinical consultant to providers to ensure that clients are referred to the most appropriate level of care and/or services Complete follow-up with clients, treatment providers, and referral contacts through completion of services Communicate verbally and/or in writing with referral contacts regarding clients' compliance with treatment, discharge planning, and aftercare services Provide clients with supportive counseling, when necessary Follow all guidelines and requirements as indicated by the employer or federal guidelines Document all referral and clinical information in our database Act as a liaison between clients and their benefit plan to ensure access for recommended treatment Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required CADC and full clinical licensed preferred Experience with EAP services and chemical dependency treatment issues preferred Benefits and Perks
