Security Officer - Auto Supplier
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within an automotive-focused location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to any security-related concerns, and support a positive atmosphere through your presence and interactions. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries as needed. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to those on site. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. This position is primarily a driving post and a valid driver's license is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
