Administrative & Operations Support

The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Support Professional. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations by supporting office staff and leadership with various administrative functions. Duties include, but are not limited to: Operating standard office equipment efficiently Answering and directing incoming phone calls Scheduling and organizing appointments Coordinating meetings and recording detailed meeting minutes Assisting with the preparation of routine reports Developing and maintaining organized filing systems Updating and implementing office policies and procedures Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND Two (2) years of general office or administrative experience Preferred Qualifications: Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and also possess the following will receive preferred consideration: Five (5) or more years of experience in administrative support or customer service roles Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Office 365 Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance options Retirement and savings plans Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave Employee assistance programs and other wellness initiatives Learn more about our benefits: DJJ Employee Benefits DJJ is a qualified employer for the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
