Ensures the cleanliness of IT Infrastructure spaces. May supervise or perform the installation, maintenance, reconstitution, removal, and modification of cabling and supporting infrastructure. Uses drawings, task lists, instructions, and technical data to work. Terminates copper core and fiber optic cables on main distribution frames and interface equipment. Uses test equipment in and around IT Equipment, confined spaces, and enclosures. Updates and maintains internal systems, communications and computer systems installation records, maintenance and inspection records and provides written as-built documentation as required. Installs distribution equipment. Operates and performs maintenance on tools, test equipment, auxiliary equipment. Coordinates, recommends, and provides supplies and spares. Performs operational checks and preventive maintenance inspections. Coordinates the access for - and use of - tools, test equipment, auxiliary equipment, and vehicles such as backhoes, trenchers, cable trailers, cable reel trucks, and construction vehicles through in-house and contracted parties. Develops and improves work methods and procedures related to installation and maintenance of all cable and antenna systems. Develops and improves documentation, policies, procedures, and methods. Trains and mentors' trainees, other Infrastructure Engineers as needed. Recommends specifications for products and services utilized within the job. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Able to be highly confidential. Proficient with computers including the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Proficient in the use of Visio. Able to use AutoCAD or Revit. Able to work in a team environment. Manages stress and/or fast-pace effectively. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Thorough knowledge and understanding of both copper and fiber optic telecommunications technologies. Understanding of bonding and grounding principles. Advanced knowledge of structured cabling systems. Understanding of troubleshooting and problem isolation methods. Advanced knowledge of cable types and performance. Proper ladder and height enablement device use, electrical safety, and work environment safety. Safety precautions related to oxygen deficiency and oxygen enrichment (confined space). Planning and task management concepts. Ability to establish, organize and run meetings and working-groups. Ability to take comprehensive notes, communicate tasks, and task status to teams and management both written and verbally. Education & Experience

BICSI Technician designation High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 5 years in the capacity as a Level 2 Infrastructure Engineer or related field (structured cabling). Physical Requirements

Primarily walking, sitting, standing, bending, and climbing ladders. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. Ability to distinguish colors on wiring and cables to ensure safety and technical standards are followed. Able to climb ladders and work on raised platforms. Ability to work in confined spaces. Close visual work on a computer terminal. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, other technical instruments, and for performing cable terminations and testing. Work Conditions & Other Requirements

Standard office; Data Center environment with varying temperatures and loud noises; extensive daily usage of workstation or computer. Must be available for 24x7 support of customers and NTT. Must be reachable via telephone, text, and email on a 24x7 basis. 25%-50% travel or as required for training, conferences, vendor and manufacturer visits, quality control, design and build collaboration, and work-assistance at other NTT locations. On-Site work as required or remote work as permitted. Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver's license. This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable. NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $84,900 - $106,100. All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance. Your day at NTT DATA The Senior Associate Field Network Cabling Installation Engineer is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for supporting the design, installation, maintenance, and management of network cabling systems within the organization's facilities, including data centers, offices, and remote sites. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and scalability of the network infrastructure to meet the communication and data transfer requirements of the organization. Key Responsibilities

Supports with planning and the execution of the installation of network cabling systems, including copper (for example, Cat5e, Cat6) and fiber optic cables. Pulls, terminates, and tests network cables according to industry standards and best practices. Collaborates with network engineers and architects to design cabling layouts that optimize network performance and scalability. Supports with ensuring proper cable routing, labelling, and documentation. Utilizes cable testing equipment to verify cable performance and compliance with industry standards. Assists with certifying cables for data transmission quality. Regularly inspects and maintains existing cabling infrastructure to identify and resolve issues promptly. Supports with troubleshooting and resolving network cabling problems, such as signal loss, interference, or connectivity issues. Supports with implementing effective cable management solutions to maintain a neat and organized cabling infrastructure. Supports with managing cable runs, trays, and racks to prevent cable damage or degradation. Adheres to safety protocols and best practices during cabling installations to ensure a safe work environment. Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of cabling layouts, diagrams, and test results. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, project managers, and IT stakeholders to support network infrastructure projects. Under guidance, provides technical expertise and guidance during project planning and execution. Stays up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to network cabling and network infrastructure. To Thrive in This Role, You Need to Have:
