Job Title
Responsibilities Participate and guide the design, development, testing, implementation and on-going maintenance of new and existing applications with a focus on MEDITECH and other ancillary systems. Provides on-going support and maintenance of LIVE applications including direct user support (in person and/or over the phone) during posted support hours and during on-call hours. Acts as the liaison with other IS groups or business departments for system and interfaces troubleshooting and support. Perform MEDITECH user training and be available to assist as needed in system implementations. Strong PC skills/Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel. Requirements Clinical educational background is preferred, but not required. Minimum 3-year experience in Healthcare/Hospital. Should be a self-starter and able to get things done with minimal guidance. MEDITECH or equivalent EHR implementation and support experience in Clinical modules. Should have good experience working with Clinical Staff from all departments. Should have end user training experience. Experienced in EHR upgrades, testing and training. Ability to manage multiple projects and drive projects to completion in a complex environment. Ability to work independently, prioritize projects and provide prompt and thorough follow-up.
