Electronics Assembler
Client is looking for an Assembler to join our team. This person will contribute to the company's success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products. Essential Functions: Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products. Able to follow verbal and written instruction maintaining a focus on quality. Follows an engineering assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts. Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches. Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels. Uses Microsoft Office programs. Maintains neat and clean work area. Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements. Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies. Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production state of the art environment. Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks. Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift. Able to transport up to 30 lbs. Ability to obtain a secret clearance which requires US Citizenship. Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material. Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred additional skills include electrical background at the component level, capability of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process, J-STD-001, IPC-610, and mechanical or electrical assembly experience to include soldering.
