Dymally College of Nursing-Entry Level Masters Program -Part Time Adjunct Open-Rank Faculty, Family Nurse Practitioner Program -Part Time Adjunct Open-Rank Faculty, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program -Part Time Adjunct Open-Rank Faculty, Doctor of Nursing Program -Part Time Adjunct BSN -Part-Time Adjunct Specialties: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Obstetrical Nursing, Gerontological Nursing, Maternal Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing Essential Duties Responsible for creating a dynamic, learner-centered environment that supports the diverse learning needs of the student population based on educational theory and evidence-based teaching practices. Assume other duties that contribute to the program's overall success. Maintain teaching load as assigned. Required Qualifications Regionally accredited master's degree in nursing required. Doctoral degree preferred. Current, valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California Nurse Practitioners must hold National certification as a nurse practitioner. PMHNP must provide a copy of ANA ANCC Verification of Certification Letter for PMHNP Board Certified Minimum Requirements Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience required, and/or one (1) to three (3) years of clinical experience in one of the clinical specialty areas within the past five (5) years. PC literate with the ability to utilize the MS Office platform, including Office 365, Word, and Excel. Good organizational skills Good Grammatical skills. Good customer service skills Good time management skills. Must be available to teach workload as assigned.
