Security Guard
The Part-Time Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the country club's premises, including monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular patrols, and providing a visible security presence. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding the high standards of our country club. Key responsibilities include: Patrol duties: Regularly patrol the country club's grounds, including parking areas, clubhouses, recreational facilities, and other key locations to deter and detect potential security issues. Access control: Manage and monitor access points to ensure that only authorized individuals enter the premises. Issue and track visitor passes as required. Emergency response: Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, including medical emergencies, security breaches, or safety hazards. Coordinate with emergency services and provide assistance as needed. Incident reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate reports of any security incidents, observations, or unusual activities. Document and log all relevant information in a timely manner. Member interaction: Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with members, guests, and staff. Address inquiries and resolve any concerns or issues related to security in a courteous manner. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all country club policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to security and safety. Qualifications: Experience: Security: 1 year (Required) Law enforcement: 1 year (Preferred) Military: 1 year (Preferred) Conflict management: 1 year (Preferred) Skills: Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Physical requirements: Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods. Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies and assist in situations that may require physical intervention. Certification: Valid security guard license or certification preferred. First Aid and CPR certification is a plus. Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Schedule: 4-5 hour shift Evening shift
