We are seeking self-motivated Machine Learning Camera Algorithm Engineers to join our team. Our engineers bring together world-class software/hardware to deliver cutting-edge camera user experiences by developing groundbreaking algorithms across our entire AR, VR, and MR product portfolios. Responsibilities
Involvement in both software productizations and new technology innovations Designing and training machine learning (ML) models Optimizing ML solutions for on-device deployment Fine tuning models for quality improvement and integration of ML models into product software stack Minimum Qualifications
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Graphics, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta Experience in Python or C++ Knowledge of model complexity and optimization Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, as well as first-authored publications at leading workshops or conferences such as CVPR, ECCV/ICCV, SIGGRAPH, or similar. Demonstrated software engineer experience via an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or widely used contributions in open source repositories (e.g. GitHub). Experience with commercial software products. Experience working and communicating cross-functionally in a team environment. Experience with Generative AI based projects. $56.25/hour to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
