The Warehouse Supervisor

WS assists the on-site logistics manager within this group for delivery of automated material handling system projects and related projects in North America. The Warehouse Supervisor sets the preconditions and creates the environment in which his team members can perform and accelerate in projects. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for assisting with all the logistics activities involved in the installation of automated material handling systems on our biggest, most complex projects. This is inclusive of all inbound and outbound activities. You are proactive in reporting and resolving logistic, technical or organizational problems and have good communication with the on-site logistics manager about inventory, quality control, packaging, and other logistics related issues. This role will assist the on-site pre-assembly team as needed with inventory control. Responsibilities: Build competence and increase overall team performance through creating a culture of mutual accountability Organize your work as required to safely, efficiently, and profitably deliver Vanderlande projects Working closely with the VI North American Safety Manager, lead the further development of the VI safety culture in the delivery of our projects Work closely with other parts of the VI organization (Engineering, Planning, Project Management, Supply Chain, Procurement) to develop mutually beneficial process improvements to improve our performance, in particular logistics Manages quality, time, costs and provision of information Responsible for assisting in the reporting and escalating non-conformities to PM/SM and wider audience as required Develop plans to increase key Airport Conveyor product knowledge Develop plans to execute and improve site logistics within Vanderlande Assist with the creation of packing slips and supply chain status reports Serve as a trusted and dependable team member and advocate for site management team members in your group to quickly resolve issues including but not limited to the following:

Planning Engineering Supply Chain Procurement Logistics Project management

Other duties as required to fulfil the responsibilities above. Multi-disciplined and looks further than borders of own field Takes ownership over all site logistic related challenges Travel to various job sites as required

estimated to be 10% (domestic) Basic Qualifications: Proven track record on experience in position of supply chain logistics and or project site logistics Experience in some capacity in the delivery of automated material handling systems project Experience serving as on-site representative while building relationships with clients Ability to obtain required security clearances to work in VI project sites Minimum of 8 years working in a very fast-paced, large volume warehouse and or job site

Supply Chain background a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills comes with extensive knowledge and can assist with delivering a project logistics plan Strong organizational skills

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, eligible to receive an hourly rate and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The hourly rate listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final hourly rate offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate-dependent.
