Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed

Industrial Journeyman Electrician

to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing or production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical codes, industrial controls, and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC and local codes. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components using test equipment and hand tools. Repair or replace wiring, electrical fixtures, control devices, motors, and electrical panels. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery. Work with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and automation systems. Coordinate with engineers, production staff, and other trades to ensure efficient operations. Adhere to all safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. Maintain records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific). High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited apprenticeship program preferred. Minimum

4-5 years

of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of electrical theory, industrial wiring, and control systems. Experience with 480V 3-phase systems, switchgear, transformers, and conduit installation (EMT/RMC). Proficiency in using multimeters, meggers, amp clamps, and other diagnostic tools. Ability to work independently and in a team under minimal supervision. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces as needed. Preferred Skills: Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) Knowledge of NFPA 70E and Arc Flash safety. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
