27/4 Operations Lead

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety and Supportability. We are looking for a 27/4 Operations Lead to plan and execute sustainment strategy of the fielded system, including on-site support staff, transportation of sustainment resources, field maintenance support, material procurement, return & repair, technical assistance. As a 24/7 Ops Lead you'll work closely with the Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Global Mobility, EXIM, IPT Leadership and Program Management teams to apply disciplined program management processes and utilize tools to establish and monitor metrics and trends to ensure excellence in execution. Additional responsibilities may include: Drive performance to cost and schedule targets Maintain open and frequent communication with other program leads Generate/Lead proposal inputs on all relevant scope Resolve cost, scope, and schedule issues Establish and drive roadmaps for sustainment activities Balance alignment between program and product roadmap objectives Support the Risk & Opportunity process Regularly interact with the Customer Ability to travel internationally as needed Developing and delivering advanced, system-specific training. Domestic and international travel may be required. This position is based in Tewksbury. This position is designated as ONSITE. Commuting costs to and from the facility are the responsibility of the incumbent. Qualifications you must have: Typically requires: Bachelor's degree and a minimum 10 years of relevant Engineering, Program or Project management experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position. Experience managing project or program cost, schedule and risk. Ability to obtain Secret security clearance is required after start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications we prefer: Experience as an Integrated Product Team lead Experience executing DoD sustainment and/or product support activities and with US Air Force / DoD Radar Programs Experience with radar and/or sensor systems, or other advanced electronic systems. Experience with proposals development/management Experience with Risk/Opportunity Management tools and processes Demonstrated consistency, accountability and flexibility managing multiple, varied and competing priorities. Demonstrated track record of developing customer relationships to meet contractual requirements. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
