Residence Supervisor

The Residence Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision and monitoring of assigned residence providing ongoing supervision, support and training as necessary to the Assistant Residence Supervisor and program staff in accordance with compliance and agency standards. The Residence Supervisor is ultimately responsible to create a therapeutic, safe and secure environment for the physical and emotional needs of youth in our care. Work schedules and locations are subject to change, based on the Campus and program needs. Essential Tasks: The Residence Supervisor provides continuous monitoring of the assigned residence on a 24 hour 7 days per week basis to ensure overall safety of the employees and individuals served. Supervise daily operations of the assigned residence, and coordination of services to ensure the health and well-being of participants. Oversight of the program schedules, ensure the program is adequately staffed and overtime utilization is monitored. Train, supervise, and evaluate Assistant Residence Supervisor and Residential Youth Counselors. Facilitates and ensures all staff receives and maintain appropriate trainings and certifications necessary to provide the appropriate care and treatment to each individual. Implement all policies and standards of compliance, as well as Federal, State and County regulatory requirements. Maintains and monitors all financial ledgers, receipts and funds in the program, such as petty cash and individual's personal allowance, and timely reconciliation of receipts. Completes and maintains TCI, First Aid/CPR and all other required certification as designated by supervisor. Conducts physical site inspection and summit's maintenance request to the facilities dept. Attends all meetings and trainings as designated by supervisor. Ensure that all agency's policies and procedures are implemented and all corresponding documentation is filed accordingly at the agency standards. Serves as an advocate for the individuals served to ensure their individualized choices and needs are respect and they receive quality care. Facilitates Incident Review and participated on committees designated by supervisor. Participate in special projects and perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Develop internal cottage systems to support accountability of residents, behavioral expectations and an atmosphere that encourages positive peer and adult relationships and addresses the treatment needs of the residents. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, develop and supervise implementation of behavioral plans, ICSPs, safety plans and all other opportunities for youth development. Qualifications: High School diploma required with at least three (5) years of relevant experience working with youth; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience working in residential treatment is preferred. At least one year of demonstrated supervisory experience. Solid working knowledge of behavioral management techniques. Ability to effectively communicate, counsel and deescalate youth. Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with client and teams that are culturally and professionally diverse. Required to take and pass Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training. Valid New York State Driver's License is required; CT or NJ license is acceptable. Salary: $60,000 - $67,500
