The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst - Licensing. As part of a team of more experienced staff, the Associate Application Analyst - Licensing is responsible for analyzing purchased licenses, conducting research to assist with purchases and contract requirements, processing and maintaining client software, and participating in software license related projects. Analyst will deliver software license services at enterprise level through use of software management system. Monitors the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues assigned by direct supervisor and implements software adhering to UHS IT Standards. Works with Corp Tech Services teams to coordinate installation and maintenance of deployed software. Assists with management of projects assigned from preparing project schedules and estimates through final implementation. Serves as project lead for multiple license related projects and initiatives. Meets deadlines and ensures continued progress toward assignment completion. Key Responsibilities

Software Asset Management:

Assist with maintenance of detailed inventory of organization's software and hardware assets and applying the information gathered in making the best decision concerning IT-related purchases and redistribution for the organization. Help UHS eliminate waste and increase efficiency by making the best use of existing IT asset resources and avoiding asset purchases that are unnecessary. Assist with facility decision making and optimize spending within the IT environment Assist with development and maintenance of processes, policies, standards, systems and measurements that help UHS to effectively manage both on a daily basis and long-term its IT asset portfolio (software and technology-related hardware) with regards to cost, control, risk, compliance, business performance objectives, and IT Governance as established by the company. Ensure quality control throughout the lifecycle of all company IT assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage them. Maintain databases and records of information such as licenses, service agreements, and warranties for the organization's software and hardware. Ensure compliance with vendor contracts by carrying out effective planning and monitoring and working with hardware assets and software license. Assist in developing procurement strategies across the organization that optimizes technology spend. Performs project management tasks related to license recommendations, license delivery, and support.

Data Analysis:

Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling. Gather and analyze data for licensing efficiencies. Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to display software licensing and ETS Infrastructure Team performance. Administration and Oversight:

Maintains Service Excellence principles. Prepares and submits status reports to supervisor as required. Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, and problems. Escalates issues to Manager as required. Performs other tasks as required by management. Qualifications

Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required. 1-3 years related experience preferred Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software applications A quick learner of software and information technology and motivated to learn new applications and business operations Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills, among facility customers and team members Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals, as outlined in UHS corporate standards Self-disciplined, able to work independently, but also able to take direction when necessary Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues, and in advancing personal knowledge Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency Very organized and detail-oriented License or Registration Requirements: Software asset management experience preferred Project management experience preferred Desktop support experience preferred ITIL Problem Management and ITIL Lifecycle Management experience preferred Travel Requirements: 5-10% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
