Field Technician
The position is responsible for performing duties related to the daily operations and maintenance of assigned wells and disposal facilities. Prepares, maintains and submits reports for daily volumes, well pressures, etc. Responsible for optimizing and maintaining disposal facilities. This position is based in Carlsbad, NM or Midland, TX. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs daily operations checks of disposal wells and facilities; provide prompt notification as conditions change; conducts production tests Performs minor repairs of surface production and injection equipment
Maintains equipment in good operating condition Maintains a clean and safe wellsite Submits daily reports of water volumes Assists with construction projects as assigned by Foreman Maintains field offices, and company equipment including computers, and vehicles Responsible for maintaining neighborly and positive relationship with land-owners, customers, and regulatory agency representatives Complies with all regulatory, environmental and safety rules and standards, as well as company policies Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 2 years of relevant work experience Ability to understand excavation best practices, OSHA regulations, and Managing Safe Work Candidate must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, specifically, Microsoft Excel Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently
