Were looking for skilled
Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician Generalist
to join a high-performing lab team at a
growing rural hospital
in southeastern West Virginia near Marlinton. This full-time position runs
three 12-hour
day shifts per week
and includes cross-training on other shifts. The MT/MLT will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, quality control, and specimen analysis, while ensuring accurate, timely results that directly support patient care. Youll work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional support from a strong laboratory team. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory analysis, testing, and reporting in accordance with quality and regulatory standards. Conduct and monitor quality control and equipment calibration. Enter and validate orders and results in the laboratory information system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory workspaces. Collect specimens and perform direct patient care tasks, appropriate to patient age and needs. Support administrative and clerical duties, including documentation and communication with providers. Communicate abnormal or unexpected findings to senior tech, coordinator, or pathologist as needed. Participate in cross-training to support other shifts and lab sections.
