Director of Finance
Toku is the leading provider of compliance infrastructure for crypto companies, enabling them to pay employees in tokens and stablecoins while staying compliant with state, federal, and international tax laws. Our growing client list includes 30% of the crypto companies listed on Robinhood. Backed by $26M from leading investors including Blockchain Capital and Naval Ravikant, Toku is scaling rapidly to meet the demand for compliance solutions in the evolving regulatory environment. Toku is looking for an experienced Finance leader to support the growth and development of our complex global financial infrastructure. The Director of Finance will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the founders. You will provide additional management to all of our finance functions. You'll implement and execute the metrics and KPIs laid out by the founders. You will be an integrate part of scaling Toku's EOR, payroll, and token grant administration operations. This is a hands-on role. You are expected to roll up your sleeves and work alongside our existing finance team in the trenches daily. This role requires deep expertise in managing international payrolls, including local compliance, tax regulations, and reporting requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with the founders and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and resolve payroll-related issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We have huge ambitions and are looking for an ambitious finance operator to help us execute on our vision. Responsibilities
End-to-End Payroll Management Manage payroll submissions Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance Work closely with the founders to implement the token grant administration product Work with tax advisors and legal teams to navigate complex tax situations Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll issues Prepare detailed financials, FP&A, payroll reports Provide insights on payroll performance Willingness to perform day-to-day payroll processing tasks Requirements
Minimum 7-10 years of payroll experience Must have startup experience Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles Passionate entrepreneur with strong business instincts A hustler mentality North America Time Zone Nice to Have
