Internship Opportunity at University Behavioral Health of Denton
Serving North Texas and surrounding communities since 2005, University Behavioral Health of Denton (UBH Denton) is a private, 104-bed, free-standing psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care for adolescents and adults. We offer inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services and are very proud of our specialized Military and Women's programs. UBH of Denton is currently offering unpaid internships at our facility. The Intern will work closely with the Outpatient Services department employees on the following: Conduct psychosocial assessments Identify problems and effects interventions to facilitate transition back into the community Conduct family therapy sessions Maintain routine contact with referral sources and outpatient providers Coordinate discharge and aftercare planning About Universal Health Services One of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc. has built an impressive record of achievement and performance. Qualifications Qualifications: Successful candidate will be currently enrolled in a social work program or clinical mental health program with an accredited university/college, Master's level. Other Requirements: Master's Level is required.
