Prefabrication Shop Foreman
Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Prefabrication Shop Foreman to join our team within the Prefabrication department of Hunt Electric's Electrical Division. This position requires self-motivation and self-management of work with strong interpersonal skills to meet with users in a face-to-face environment. The Prefabrication Shop Foreman is required to have a strong leadership presence. This candidate will ensure all procedures are being followed, monitor workplace performance, lead training initiatives, and mentor our pre apprentices. An ideal candidate will actively pursue continued education in management and stay current with industry standards and advancements within the electrical field. Strong leadership presence. Ensure all procedures are being followed. Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee engagement. This position will be responsible for coordination, prefabrication, and installation. Major Duties Train and Mentor Pre-Apprentices in electrical installation and Prefab builds. Weekly material ordering. Ability to schedule, package, shipping & receiving, and the kitting process. Understanding all components of Prefab. Delegate and organize workload for Prefab Leads and Pre-Apprentices. Document and report all Employee's attendance, write and maintain Goal Cards for the prefab Goals Challenge. QA/QC on all projects. Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager. Minimum Qualifications Journeyman Electrician. 5-10 years field experience. Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel) and Bluebeam. Experienced management skills. Advanced understanding of NEC. Electrical material and product knowledge. This full-time Prefabrication Shop Foreman position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities.
