Top Secret/SCI Position at Warfare Systems
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the Department of Defense (DoD) and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies. Essential Job Responsibilities
Reports to the Transition Manager. Manages execution of transition activities as detailed in the Transition-In schedule. Manages the day-to-day activities of the regional task force transition team and the transition of the TDLs and Places of Performance within their Task Force Transition-In Region to ensure FOC within 90 days. Works with the Transition Manager, TOPM, and Government stakeholders to resolve any issues that team members encounter during transition activities. Coordinates with each PoP site lead, TDL Lead, and outgoing contractor to transfer all TDL and site knowledge and assets onto the COBRA DMS portal. Assists the Transition Manager, TDL Lead, Mission Partners, and Government TPOC in verifying each TDL project scope and documents. Assists the Transition Manager to coordinate TDP kick-offs. Briefs the transition team during TRRs on operational capabilities. Minimum Qualifications
8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience. Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI (SCI Eligible) clearance at the time of application. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. Capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record of contributing to successful team outcomes. Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of DoD acquisition and contracting processes. Working familiarity with federal compliance standards (e.g., DFARS, ITAR). PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
