Maintenance And Labor Position
Purpose: Responsible for general maintenance and labor to ensure upkeep and cleanliness of corporate offices, property, vehicles, and equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: General building and grounds maintenance including grass cutting, snow removal; ensure property and landscaping meets appearance standards including pond, fountain and surrounding areas. Unlock site buildings every morning and pick up weekly mail. Maintenance of lighting, light fixtures, furnace filters, and facility underground sprinkler systems. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, vehicles, and facilities. General touch-up painting of all site facilities Assist Truenorth Trucking in all other assigned duties, such as maintenance of compressors and generators, organizing parts, tire, and oil rooms, and ensuring vehicle wash supplies are readily available. Clean and maintain storage and work areas, including the drains, floors and walls of the truck wash facility, and the trucking mezzanine and storage areas. Pressure wash and maintain site fueling island with window wash fluid and towels. Ensure site generators are performing bi-weekly test exercise runs. Perform bi-annual cleaning of all exterior windows for trucking facility. Assist in the moving and delivery of store equipment as directed. Assist with Corporate events and meetings through the setup and break down of meeting rooms (may need to stay after standard working hours) Complete monthly walkthroughs with the cleaning company to ensure all cleaning needs are being met. Oversee vendors completing onsite preventive or emergency maintenance or projects to include annual inspections. Assist in the delivery and/or shipment needs of facility. Clean company aircraft as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the company's motor vehicle insurance policy Experience performing general maintenance; HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical experience strongly preferred Must be highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision Must be able to lift and move objects weighting up to 75 pounds Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working outdoors in all types of weather While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing and reaching throughout the course of the shift. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
