DevSecOps Engineer
Tyto Athene is searching for a DevSecOps Engineer to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida. Responsibilities include: Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing SRE practices, system observability, and automation tools. Designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. Deploying and configuring observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or New Relic. Creating dashboards and reports for system performance metrics and KPIs. Enhancing the agility and reliability of cloud operations through continuous integration and delivery, ensuring that updates and new features are deployed efficiently to support mission needs. Supporting Infrastructure as Code and Model Based System Engineering activities. Collaborating with engineering teams to implement MBSE practices and tools. Supporting system modeling and digital twin initiatives. Integrating MBSE workflows with CI/CD processes. Maintaining traceability between system models and deployed infrastructure. Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or similar tools. Supporting Zero Touch Provisioning capabilities in multi-tenant environments to include DISA Thunderdome. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field. 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Administration. 3+ years hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automated pipeline development. 3+ years experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 2+ years experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with government cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government). Desired: Advanced certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, or cybersecurity. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) CISSP, CEH, CISA Clearance: Top Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Certification: DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role.
