THAAD AN/TPY2 System Radar Instructor

The Contract Logistic Support (CLS) program is looking to staff a THAAD AN/TPY2 System Radar Instructor in support of the THAAD Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) program in El Paso, Texas. You will be based in El Paso, Texas and as an instructor, you will provide training and guidance for the KSA Soldiers in the following areas: THAAD Technical Concepts Prime Power Unit (PPU) Operator/Maintainer (O/M) THAAD Radar Operator/Maintainer (O/M) Responsibilities will include training the KSA Soldier in crew level tasks, maintaining a mission ready focus and a deployable status. The tasks below are part of Collective Training and Table 8 certification that the KSA Soldiers must complete and certify as a crew in a field environment: RSOP Procedures Emplacement of the System Power Up/Down System Initialize Software Run Diagnostics Load Satellite Task List Track Satellites Perform Operator level maintenance Integrate with TFCC and load Battle Plan from TFCC March Order System Perform all Operator PMCS tasks. May be required to lift 50 pounds. Qualifications you must have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years. Experience with THAAD or equivalent Missile Defense System. Training experience in a military or civilian environment. Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications we prefer: Experience in Computer Based Training, Instructor Led Training, Virtual Training and Distance Learner. Experience with Air and Missile Defense Operations. Ability to conduct basic forms of instructional and training analysis. Completion of the AN/TPY-2 Common Course and OJT or US Army THAAD course. Training in THAAD System Administrator, THAAD ADA Officer, THAAD System Technician (140E), THAAD AN/TPY-2 Radar, and/or THAAD Prime Power Unit. Must possess strong technical writing and oral communication skills. Working experience in Windows Desktop & Server. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
