Alegra Group is seeking an experienced Kubernetes Architect for a high-impact project with a global leader in electronics and manufacturing. The role involves designing a disconnected edge architecture using K3S on bare metal infrastructure, supporting next-generation industrial systems. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative edge computing solutions deployed in large-scale, high-performance environments. Tasks
Architect and implement a highly available, disconnected edge Kubernetes platform using K3S. Design and configure Kubernetes storage, networking, and CNI plugins for robust, scalable clusters. Manage deployments with Rancher and enable GitOps workflows using ArgoCD. Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to develop resilient solutions for bare metal environments. Support testing, documentation, and tuning for production-grade edge setups. Requirements
1015 years of experience in systems architecture, with deep expertise in Kubernetes (K3S) and bare metal deployments. Hands-on experience with Rancher, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes networking/storage stacks. Strong programming or scripting skills in Python and/or Golang. Familiar with virtualization, edge computing, and air-gapped environments. Proactive mindset, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent collaboration abilities. Our client is looking to hire ASAP and the interview process consists of 2 stages.
