consider joining us at Neighborhood! As a pharmacy service associate, you'll have an important role in the patient experience at Neighborhood. And, you won't be working weekends! We're closed on Saturdays and Sundays. About the Role: As a pharmacy service associate, kindness and fairness are key as you use your customer service skills in patient interactions. Attention to detail is important to you, so you can accurately dispense prescriptions to patients. Responsibilities include: Performs cashier functions for payments received from patients for prescriptions or other products/services Hands out prepared prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager Bags completed prescriptions and files alphabetically in will call area Performs daily return to stock of aged prescriptions and assists in managing will call area Answers telephone, takes requests for prescription refills and triages other calls as necessary Triages and assists patients entering the pharmacy Processes confidential information and handles such information in a professional manner in accordance with both state and federal laws, as well as policies implemented by Neighborhood Other duties as assigned You will be primarily based at our Mattina location, 300 Niagara St., Buffalo, NY 14201. Education and Skills: CPR certification required and must be maintained High school diploma or equivalent Counting accuracy Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new programs Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, judgment, discretion, and oral and written communication skills Kindness: you treat each person with respect and compassion, valuing each person's story Resiliency: you see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise Teamwork: you are open to others' unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals Must be available to work any shift Monday-Friday between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. What We Offer: Compensation: Starting rate $18.50 per hour.
