We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Administrator to manage all aspects of employee compensation. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and serving as a liaison between the finance and HR departments. Duties/Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees across multiple departments and states. Enter, maintain, and processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information. Submit weekly certified payroll reports. Ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, and other payroll changes. Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information. Maintain and update payroll records including employee information, tax withholdings, and direct deposit details. Process off cycle payments. Review timesheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally. Respond to union audits. Coordinate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure proper benefits deductions, bonus payments, and PTO tracking. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as needed. Assist with audits and year-end processes including W-2s, 1099s, and other tax filings. Stay current on changes in payroll regulations and labor laws. Qualifications:

5 years as Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, or similar role. In-depth understanding of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and employment legislation. In-depth experience with prevailing wages, Davis Bacon act, and certified payroll platforms. Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, Workday, etc.), Spectrum Viewpoint highly preferred. Experience integrating payroll systems and launching new systems. Strong math and analytical skills. High level of confidentiality and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Education and Certifications:

Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field. CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) is a plus. Experience with multi-state and union payrolls.
