As a member of our Integrated Solutions team, you will collaborate with other Jacobs experts to find solutions to help our transportation clients become smarter, lower-emitting, and more effective. Our clients are on the cusp of adopting Big Data solutions at scale, and we are one of the first companies to enter this high-potential industry. That means we need savvy, sophisticated professionals who go beyond sales to truly educate and collaborate with both internal stakeholders and clients. StreetLight Data is seeking a Technical Project Manager with expertise in transportation planning or engineering, who is passionate about making an impact through smarter, better planning and design. Location: Remote in the United States, with a preference in Central or Eastern Timezones Responsibilities: Work closely with the Integrated Solutions team to introduce StreetLight Data's unique technology to Jacobs transportation professionals. Develop a technical understanding of Jacobs digital transportation offerings. Serve as an advisor for Jacobs projects and pursuits that require digital solutions. Identify and manage digital strategy for assigned focus areas, including design for design build projects. Understand and be able to articulate the value proposition for the combined StreetLight/Jacobs offering to both internal stakeholders and clients. Develop and deliver presentations, proposal content, and demos of the software tailored to engage clients. Maintain deep and up-to-date knowledge of Jacobs digital transportation capabilities and use cases. Here's what you'll need: 8+ years' experience working as an engineer/planner or technical sales in transportation. Experience selling to and working with transportation and/or public sector agencies is highly desirable. Strong data analysis skills, knowing what can / cannot be possible, and ability to visualize data in the best way possible. Bachelor's degree required, master's degree is a plus. Excellent communication skills - written, visual (presentations), and verbal. Enjoys collaboration and working cross functionally to meet goals. Enjoys figuring out processes, fixing problems, and is comfortable with figuring out things for the first time. Multi-tasking, critical thinking skills and the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities are essential. Team-oriented, flexible, and able to see the "big picture" - because our entire team must meet our goals for Jacobs digital initiatives to be successful. Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% as needed to achieve objectives. Preferred: Understanding of ArcGIS and geospatial software. Previous experience using StreetLight on a pursuit or project. Previous experience in design, specifically design for design build or progressive design build. **There is a variable compensation piece of the pay structure for this role, which will be based on achieving certain performance metrics.
