Document Control Specialist
The Document Control Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and organizing engineering documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and company protocols. Responsibilities: Manage the documentation lifecycle for CAD projects, including creation, revision, distribution, and archival of drawings, specifications, and related documents. Implement and maintain document control procedures and standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across all CAD documentation. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to facilitate document reviews, approvals, and revisions. Monitor document change requests, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation of changes. Organize and maintain document repositories and databases, ensuring easy access to current and historical documents. Conduct regular audits and quality checks to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. Provide support and training to CAD team members on document control procedures and software tools. Troubleshoot document control issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in document control and CAD software tools. Requirements: Experience working in document control, preferably in a CAD or engineering environment is a plus. Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools is a plus. Strong understanding of document management systems and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is a plus.
