Team Overview The Not-for-Profit Healthcare team within Jefferies' Municipal Finance division focuses on providing financing solutions and strategic advisory services to hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare-related not-for-profit organizations. The team works on a wide range of transactions including tax-exempt and taxable bond issuances, mergers and acquisitions, and financial restructurings. The team just opened up a new search for an Analyst/Associate to join the New York desk. Key Responsibilities Conduct financial analysis and modeling for municipal bond transactions and strategic advisory assignments. Prepare client presentations, offering memoranda, and rating agency materials. Assist in the execution of live transactions, including bond pricing, investor outreach, and closing logistics. Perform due diligence and industry research on healthcare systems and market trends. Collaborate with senior bankers and clients to develop customized financing strategies. Maintain databases and internal tools to support deal execution and business development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in an investment banking seat focusing on municipal finance (ideally with a healthcare focus) Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated interest in healthcare, public finance, or investment banking. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a high level of attention to detail. Prior internship or work experience in finance, consulting, or healthcare is a plus.
