Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

to lead and oversee all operational aspects of our firearms manufacturing business. The COO will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving strategic initiatives, and aligning production capabilitiesincluding advanced CNC machiningwith the company's growth objectives. This executive will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to set the vision, optimize efficiency, and maintain the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety. Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

Direct, manage, and optimize all aspects of manufacturing, assembly, quality control, supply chain, and logistics across the organization.

CNC & Manufacturing Oversight

Oversee high-precision CNC machining operations (milling, turning, multi-axis), ensuring maximum efficiency, quality, and throughput.

Strategic Planning

Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with market growth and innovation.

Process Improvement

Implement lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation strategies to reduce waste and improve productivity.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to

ATF, ITAR, ISO, and industry-specific standards

; maintain rigorous quality assurance processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with engineering, product development, and R&D to align manufacturing capabilities with new product designs and market demands.

Financial Stewardship

Manage operational budgets, analyze cost structures, and drive profitability through efficient resource allocation.

Talent Leadership

Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing management team across production, maintenance, engineering, and quality departments.

Vendor & Supply Chain Management

Oversee sourcing, procurement, and inventory management to ensure reliable supply of materials and components.

Safety Culture

Champion workplace safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven senior leadership experience in

firearms manufacturing

or a related

precision CNC machining

industry.

Deep understanding of CNC programming, tooling, and modern manufacturing technology.

Strong knowledge of

firearms industry regulations

(ATF, ITAR) and quality management systems.

Demonstrated track record of scaling operations, driving efficiency, and delivering results.

Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align teams.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
