Overview: Full-time position, 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, benefits eligible. Job Description Summary: Oversees the operations of Homecare Respiratory services, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective delivery of quality care and services. Manages and supervises assigned respiratory therapy staff. Job Description: Essential Functions: Manages clinical operations and ensures the safe and effective delivery of respiratory services and patient care. Collaborates to develop and communicate respiratory therapy services operational strategies and objectives. Leads multi- and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement clinical programs, policies, and standards. Evaluates respiratory therapy services by analyzing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement. Provides clinical leadership and guidance to respiratory care, nursing, and medical staff. Oversees the effective management and delivery of supplies and equipment. Manages the respiratory therapy services financial processes. Education Requirement: Master's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field, required. Licensure Requirement: Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) with licensure to practice in the State of Ohio, required. Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Certifications: Certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with annual recertification, required. Skills: Effective analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills. Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, interpersonal relationship, and written communications skills. Ability to promote multidisciplinary collaboration and to act as a facilitator and change agent. High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability for actions. Supervisory and managerial skills to plan, direct, and evaluate the work of staff. Experience: Three years of experience in direct patient care and management, required. Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, preferred. Experience in homecare services, preferred.
