Systems Administrator

As a Systems Administrator with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following: Performs high-level functional and IT analysis. Manages daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be client or server, based. Optimizes system operation and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning. Provides assistance to users in accessing and using KM/DS. Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems for KM/DS applications. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Applies principles and methods to difficult problems in technical areas to arrive at automated solutions. Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation and creates charts and graphs to record results. Qualifications
Active Top Secret Clearance required U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance Bachelors' degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study in computer science, information system plus three (3) years of task related experience; OR Associates' degree from an accredited training institution plus six (6) years of task related experience; OR an applicable training certificate issued in accordance with guidelines provided by the software vendor (i.e. Microsoft MCSE/MCSA, Oracle DBA,) from an accredited training institution plus ten (10) years of task related experience. SA requires the clearance and capability to perform duties on networks operating at the SIPR, SCI and SAP levels. Certified in compliance with DoDD 8570.01m as an IAT level 2, including an operating system/computing environment certification from an accredited training institution or center for specified software. AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,600.00/Yr. - USD $153,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
