Laborer
Laborer (4) Temporary Full Time Position 10/1/25-11/01/2025, Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Construction laborers who primarily assist a particular craft worker are classified under "Helpers, Construction Trades" (47-3010). Excludes "Hazardous Materials Removal Workers" (47-4041) DAILY TRAVEL TO VARIOUS JOB SITES LOCATED IN Hamilton, Stanton Kearney, Grant, Greely, Wichita counties in KS. ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 50 POUNDS AND CARRY IT 50 FEET. SOME OT AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. 8 hour workday. OPTIONAL EMPLOYER OWNED HOUSING $115.00 PER WEEK/ $230.00 PER PAY PERIOD. HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION, LIFE, DISABILITY INSURANCE (DEDUCTION DEPENDS ON PLAN SELECTED). PAID HOLIDAYS. Workers are responsible for transportation to the designated pick up location in COOLIDGE, KS. Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from COOLIDGE, KS. NO exp. /No edu. req'd. 40hr/wk. Mon-Fri, 7am- 6pm, $19.76 hr OT $29.64 /hr, Single workweek computation, Pd biweekly by check. All payroll deductions taken, required by law. Merit based raises available at employer discretion.
